Product Details
PROTECT3® fire-protective glazing is a wired safety glass designed for commercial hollow metal doors and commercial wood doors requiring fire-rated glazing, impact safety, and enhanced security performance. The glass incorporates embedded wire mesh and a factory-applied safety film to improve strength and durability while maintaining clarity. This fire-protective glass resists flames, smoke, and toxic gases but does not provide a barrier to radiant heat transfer. Suitable for vision lites, borrowed lites, sidelites, and transoms, this glazing is commonly specified for commercial, institutional, and high-traffic environments requiring both fire protection and added security.
