Louver Door Options
Louvers allow air ventilation through a door while maintaining a significant degree of security and privacy. Commercial door louvers are typically manufactured of metal products and can be configured to fit in doors or transom frames.
Commercial Wood Doors with Louvers: Metal louvers are designed for use in commercial wood doors where ventillation and free airflow is required.
Commercial Metal Doors with Louvers: Metal louvers are designed for use in commercial steel doors where airflow and ventillation is required.
Fire-Rated Louver Doors: Fire-rated door louvers restrict smoke and flames in a fire. Fire-rated door louvers can only be used in approved sizes and door configurations.
800A1 – Metal door louver insert for commercial doors.

1900A – Fire-rated metal door louver insert for commercial doors.
1300A1 – Stainless steel door louver for commercial doors.

When used within size limitations steel louvers can be used in commercial door assemblies. Fire-rated louvers are not a barrier to radiant heat.
Non-Fire Rated: Door louvers allow air to circulate through a closed door. Non-fire rated door louvers can be installed in cutouts at the top and/or bottom of a commercial door.
20 Minute Fire-Rated Door Louvers: When used within allowable size limitations, fire-rated door louvers are approved for use in 20 minute fire-rated door assemblies.
45 Minute Fire-Rated Door Louvers: When used within allowable size limitations, fire-rated door louvers are approved for use in 45 minute fire-rated door assemblies.
60 Minute Fire-Rated Door Louvers: When used within allowable size limitations, fire-rated door louvers are approved for use in 60 minute fire-rated door assemblies.
90 Minute Fire-Rated Door Louvers: When used within allowable size limitations, fire-rated door louvers are approved for use in 90 minute fire-rated door assemblies.
