Product Details

PROTECT-X® radiation shielding glazing is a high-density lead glass designed for commercial hollow metal doors and commercial wood doors requiring protection from X-ray radiation. The glass incorporates a high percentage of lead oxide to provide effective radiation attenuation while maintaining clear visibility for observation areas. This product is not fire-rated and is intended for use in healthcare, laboratory, airport security, and industrial inspection environments where radiation shielding performance is required. Suitable for vision lites, borrowed lites, sidelites, and transoms, this glazing is commonly specified for imaging rooms, control windows, and secure viewing panels.
